The school year has come to end, grades are officially done and in the books. Students now know if they are graduating on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 5:30 pm at Manchester Community College’s 50th Commencement ceremony.

I talked with some students about their time here at MCC and what they’re going to miss and there plans for after MCC. A lot of students plan on transferring to continue work on getting their bachelor’s degree. Central Connecticut State University was a popular pick among graduates.

“I think the one moment going to take [away from this year], is walking across that stage at graduation,” said Candice Milliner, Communication Student who is also Vice President of ICE Radio, the school’s student run radio station.

“What I am going to miss? The amount of friends I made here, and how nice everybody is,” said Sarah Arel, a general studies student.

All the graduates are ready to end the MCC chapter in their lives and start the next chapter. But they won’t forget all the people, and memories they made here during their time on campus. Good luck to MCC Class of 2014.
