This is a continuation of an article on page 5 of the Oct. 29, 2018 issue, on newsstands across campus now!

This year, changes have been made to the MCC Foundation scholarship application process. Summer scholarships are now available, so students who only need a few more classes to graduate can receive financial aid. Before submitting their application, students should check that they have completed all sections and uploaded all required documents, including the essay, resume, FAFSA Student Aid Report, and Academic Progress Reports.

Current or returning students can apply by visiting www.mccfoundation.awardspring.comand recent high school graduates can contact scholarships@manchestercc.edu or call Nancy DiGiacomo at (860) 512-2905 for a paper application. For questions or assistance in completing the application, visit Diana Reid in SSC L231. Scholarships from outside providers can be found online and we have included a list of ten general awards here. Patrick Dwyer Scholarship

  • Write a short essay answering the question, “How can philanthropy change the world?”

 

Car Covers Scholarship

  • Write a 1,000-word essay on the topic, “How to Make Your Car Last Forever”.
